Our company has been in the beverage market since 1917 and offers a diverse range of beverages, including Oncinha cachaça, a reference in the Brazilian cachaça market.
In 1915, the young couple Ítalo and Hermínia Ferrari arrived in the district of Salto Grande, SP, Brazil, and set up a small bar in an area filled with houses and boarding houses that housed immigrants disembarking from the Sorocabana Railway trains.
Soon after, the couple saw the opportunity to open a second bar, now on a small road that connected the train station yard to the banks of the Paranapanema River. And soon, the opportunity arose to open a soft drink factory, called IVORAN, in 1917.
In 1958, Ítalo and Hermínia's children – Nilo, Lino, and Ivo – acquired IVORAN S.A. and decided to change the company name to Caninha Oncinha Ltda.
The initiative was so successful that cachaça production soon increased from 40 dozen bottles per day to 400 bottles per hour.
